A family drama set between 1990s Deoband and present-day Delhi, Sehar follows Zara, an elder sister balancing caregiving and personal sacrifice, and her strained relationship with her brother Haris. Through everyday moments and shifting timelines, the script explores gender roles, grief, and the fragile complexities of familial love.
As a screenwriter, I led the script from ideation to final draft, including story development, multiple script revisions, storyboarding, etc.

After playing a mysterious cassette that records a brutal killing, a repair shop owner becomes convinced the murderer is coming for him, only to uncover a truth far more disturbing.
This project was developed as part of a studio-based anthology series, with three parallel narratives staged within a constructed set. As the screenwriter for this segment, I led the narrative development from concept to screenplay, shaping the story’s structure, pacing, and psychological tension. I worked closely on mood boards, ideation, shot division and handled pre-production to ensure a cohesive visual and narrative tone.
Alongside writing, I was responsible for lighting. I used low-key lighting, shadow play, and selective illumination to build a tense, claustrophobic atmosphere, aligning the visual treatment with the thriller genre and enhancing the protagonist’s growing sense of paranoia.

Created a portrait documentary about Samiya Khan, a cook based in Zakir Nagar, providing tiffin services to the residents of South Delhi.
The film captures the rhythms of her daily life, from managing a small-scale kitchen to coordinating deliveries, while also reflecting on the informal networks of labour that sustain urban living. Shot within her home and kitchen space, the documentary combines observational footage with interviews of Samiya and her workers to build an intimate, grounded narrative.
As the screenwriter, I shaped the film’s narrative structure, developing a cohesive storyline from real-life material and guiding the interview approach. In my role as production manager, I coordinated logistics, scheduling, and on-ground execution, ensuring a smooth shoot within a lived-in, functional environment.

Recreated and reimagined Yeh Mera Dil (Don, 1978) inside the Television Studio.
Set within a stylised jail environment, the video transforms the song into a story of manipulation and escape: a woman seduces a police officer as part of a calculated plan to secure her freedom, ultimately breaking out. The project integrates choreography, performance, and narrative to move beyond a conventional song recreation into a cohesive visual story.
As the director, I led the project end-to-end, overseeing concept development, staging, and execution. I worked closely on art design to construct a controlled jail set, used lighting to create mood and tension through shadow and contrast, and shaped the choreography to align with character intent and narrative progression.

The segment highlights the region’s history, traditions, festivals, cuisine, and natural beauty, bringing together multiple cultural elements within a concise, fast-paced format.
As the screenwriter, I developed the episode’s narrative structure, scripting transitions and segments to ensure clarity, engagement, and cultural sensitivity within a limited runtime. In my role as production manager, I coordinated pre-production logistics, team workflows, and studio requirements. Additionally, as floor manager during the live shoot, I supervised on-ground execution, managing cues, timing, and coordination between departments to ensure a seamless broadcast.
